السياسة الخارجية الروسية تجاه الأزمة السورية للفترة (2011-2017)
Abstract
The Russian position on the Syrian crisis was decisive from the outset and was characterized by a clear and unequivocal insistence on supporting the Syrian regime politically, militarily and economically. Syria, while Russia justifies its position that it preserves the Syrian state and its organs and territorial integrity and avoid Syria not to be a haven for terrorist elements and extremist organizations with its emphasis on supporting dialogue and settlement of the crisis through political and diplomatic solutions and rejection of any external military intervention In Syria to avoid a repeat of the Libyan situation and by Iraq.
Syria is experiencing one of the most serious challenges in its recent history, where regional and international reactions have varied, especially the Russian and American positions towards the Syrian revolution, which started to be very similar to its counterparts in the Arab revolution in its causes, motives and slogans. However, the action and reaction between the regime forces and the armed opposition in light of the overlap of regional and international parties took the Syrian revolution out of its popular context and its Arab context, transforming it from a popular revolution to an international regional crisis rather than Syria.
